International Missionary Fellowship - Premature Infant Rescue
As we've shared over the years, we are happy to provide infant care for premature babies and those who need more care than we can give in the hospital setting. Since we started caring for premature babies, we have taken care of 48 infants that survived. Their stays in our home have ranged from 1 week to 10 weeks, 2 lb 3 oz to 5 lb 7 oz. Some have had complications – HIV, septicemia, liver problems, renal problems, meningitis, tetanus, simple prematurity, underdeveloped lungs, pneumonia.
